About the Role
As a Client Development Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening client relationships, expanding Dunaway’s presence in municipal markets, and driving strategic business development efforts. This is a highly visible, relationship-driven role where you will partner with leadership, technical teams, and marketing to identify opportunities, deliver value to clients, and support long-term growth across Central Texas and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Identify, pursue, and help secure new business opportunities across municipal and targeted markets
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, marketing, and leadership to develop winning strategies and client solutions
- Support proposal development, presentations, and client engagement efforts
- Identify opportunities to expand services through cross-selling and strategic positioning
- Monitor client needs, market trends, and competitive activity to inform business decisions
- Conduct regular client touchpoints and reviews to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities
- Represent Dunaway in the marketplace, strengthening brand presence and client connections
- Contribute to recruiting efforts by helping attract and connect top industry talent
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the AEC industry and multidisciplinary services
- Familiarity with client development strategies and municipal/public sector markets
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
