About the Role

As a Client Development Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening client relationships, expanding Dunaway’s presence in municipal markets, and driving strategic business development efforts. This is a highly visible, relationship-driven role where you will partner with leadership, technical teams, and marketing to identify opportunities, deliver value to clients, and support long-term growth across Central Texas and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Identify, pursue, and help secure new business opportunities across municipal and targeted markets
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams, marketing, and leadership to develop winning strategies and client solutions
  • Support proposal development, presentations, and client engagement efforts
  • Identify opportunities to expand services through cross-selling and strategic positioning
  • Monitor client needs, market trends, and competitive activity to inform business decisions
  • Conduct regular client touchpoints and reviews to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities
  • Represent Dunaway in the marketplace, strengthening brand presence and client connections
  • Contribute to recruiting efforts by helping attract and connect top industry talent
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the AEC industry and multidisciplinary services
  • Familiarity with client development strategies and municipal/public sector markets
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
