About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure students' safety at all times.
  • Enforce rules and regulations.
  • Work with assigned teachers and students in a main class.
  • Be prepared to be reassigned to different classes or duties based on school needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administration, and other assistants.
  • Communicate openly and honestly within the team.
  • Support the school's mission and vision.
  • Provide encouragement, positive reinforcement, and respect to each student.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Foster a healthy professional culture through respectful collaboration with colleagues.
  • Establish constructive relationships with families.
  • Develop intercultural competencies and support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
  • Meet all professional responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Uphold professional standards and comply with school policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate self-reflection and commitment to professional growth.
  • Comply with Lycée policies and procedures.
  • Perform extracurricular, administrative, and student supervision duties.

Requirements

  • Must set an example for students in conduct and presentation.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Must show patience and understanding when working with young children.
  • Must show flexibility in schedule to respond to occasional unexpected circumstances.
  • May be required to attend after-school meetings.
  • Ability to get along with diverse personalities is necessary.
  • Must believe in the School’s Mission.
  • Duties must be performed in person, on campus, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm.
  • Work schedule may be adjusted by the Lycée based on its needs.
