About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role leads the evolution of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and quality assurance functions while shaping the future of the Infinity platform. The position balances strategic leadership with technical execution, guiding infrastructure architecture, modernizing the Azure environment, and building systems, processes, and automation for scalable software delivery. Collaboration with Product, Development, and business leaders is key to strengthening platform performance, improving operational efficiency, advancing AI initiatives, and creating a robust technical foundation.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the roadmap for Infinity's cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with business needs.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend architectural improvements for the Azure environment.
Advance infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and automated testing.
Champion best practices to reduce manual effort, improve release quality, and minimize outages.
Lead the evaluation and adoption of AI-powered capabilities for internal operations and product offerings.
Integrate new technologies to accelerate delivery and create innovative solutions.
Coach, mentor, and support a team of Infrastructure, DevOps, and QA professionals.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
Remove obstacles, provide technical guidance, and solve complex technical challenges.
Partner with Product, Development, and business leaders to understand priorities and balance technical and business needs.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.

Requirements

Experience leading and developing technical teams, creating an environment where people are empowered and accountable.
Coaching mindset in leadership, balancing mentorship with clear expectations and feedback.
Experience designing, building, and supporting secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
Understanding of modern infrastructure architecture, networking, security, monitoring, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
Experience building and improving infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing practices.
Passion for creating efficient, repeatable processes.
Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and explore new solutions.
Ability to evaluate technical and business requirements, identify patterns, and assess trade-offs.
