About the Role
The Product Manager will lead game-changing efforts for new and existing solutions, reporting to the Director of Product Management. This role involves close collaboration with UX, technology, sales, marketing, and operations teams to drive product vision and strategy.
Responsibilities
- Analyze product inputs, customer requirements, and design solution architectures.
- Develop business cases for new product development.
- Prepare software design plans, product specifications, use case documentation, and user interface wireframes.
- Conduct market research, including customer segment analysis and competitor assessment.
- Stay current on healthcare industry standards, compliance issues, and regulatory changes.
- Gather customer feedback through user tests, surveys, and site visits.
- Define system requirements in collaboration with internal and external resources.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align stakeholders on a single product vision.
- Manage the product roadmap, feature backlog, and release coordination.
Requirements
- Proven ability to execute and take initiative.
- Strong whiteboard communication skills for explaining complex information.
- Understanding of hospital and professional coding, billing workflows, and provider reimbursement processes.
- Experience in a healthcare setting or RCM-focused HIT company.
- Leadership experience in designing, building, or using RCM Revenue Integrity products.
- Ability to interpret regulatory guidelines from CMS, Tricare, and Medicaid.
- Knowledge of healthcare coding vocabulary including DRGs, CPT/HCPC, Revenue Codes, APG, and APC.
- Robust technical fundamentals in software development.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail regarding usability and customer experience.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for facilitation, negotiation, and persuasion.
- Flexibility and agility to adapt to changing environments.
