About the Role

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental status exams
- Develop and implement treatment plans with team support
- Manage outpatient medication treatment
- Work with patients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and complex conditions
- Collaborate with therapists, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff
- Participate in suicide risk assessments with guidance and support
- Gain experience treating co-occurring disorders and personality presentations
- Document care using modern EMR systems
Requirements
- MD or DO (Psychiatry)
- Board eligible or board certified
- Licensed or license-eligible in New York State
- Interest in outpatient psychiatry
- Collaborative mindset and patient-centered approach
- Early-career psychiatrists are strongly encouraged to apply
