About the Role
You are the heartbeat of the studio, ensuring Koto is an inspiring, seamless, and world-class environment for our team and clients, managing both physical and virtual experiences and contributing to our culture.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the studio, including landlord and vendor management, and maintaining supplies.
- Act as the Health & Safety Officer for London, including fire compliance.
- Ensure a first-class experience for all clients, partners, and visitors.
- Support IT and Operations with hardware procurement, software rollouts, and desk setups.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
- Assist with travel arrangements, meeting room bookings, and client events.
- Support the transition into new office spaces, managing timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with global Studio Managers to share knowledge and uphold global standards.
- Partner with leadership to codify and nurture Koto’s culture.
- Plan studio socials, employee gifts, and support or lead global offsites.
- Champion DEI initiatives for London and participate in the global DEI community.
- Build relationships with design schools, publications, and creative peers to establish Koto within the local design community.
- Identify opportunities for Koto to support the local community through initiatives and partnerships.
- Embrace global operations initiatives such as 1% For The Planet, ESG, and ISO compliance for the London studio.
- Spearhead special projects, including merchandise, production projects, and experimental client experiences.
Requirements
