About the Role

This internship focuses on the practical training of pharmacists with an emphasis on drug information and the fundamentals of European drug approval. You will gain insight into the workings of a global company and explore career opportunities for pharmacists, with the goal of independently handling approval-relevant processes and projects in Germany and Austria under expert guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Support ensuring compliance of all authorized drugs in Germany and Austria with the approval notice and CDS.
  • Assist in the creation and continuous adaptation of all legally required drug information documents (FI, GI, primary and secondary packaging).
  • Support the maintenance of information texts in the global document management system.
  • Maintain and evaluate area-specific databases.
  • Support the new approval and maintenance of drugs and medical devices.
  • Assist in reviewing, submitting, and maintaining documents required for a valid approval application.
  • Support the execution of European and national approval procedures in collaboration with GRS.
  • Assist in processing inquiries from BOB.
  • Independently handle approval-relevant sub-projects.
  • Work on projects in the area of organizational and process development.
  • Gather and distribute information.
  • Create presentation materials.

Requirements

  • Practical training of pharmacists according to §4 (2c) of the Approbationsordnung für Apotheker.
  • Focus on drug information.
  • Understanding of European drug approval processes.
  • Ability to work independently on approval-relevant processes and projects.
  • Provide expected date of receiving your Second State Examination.
  • Submit online application with complete and meaningful documents (cover letter, CV, enrollment certificate & files like certificates, etc.).
