About the Role

Responsibilities
- Support Transit Engineers and Transit Project Managers with the production of drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using CAD software.
- Maintain client specific CAD standards and workspaces.
- Develop basic construction quantities from designs.
- Create 3D models of freight railroad track/civil projects and other Building Information Modeling (BIM) tasks to support the development of railroad projects.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
- Knowledge of standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows and deliverables
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
