About the Role
The Talent Development Specialist collaborates with departmental resources to identify business performance gaps and learning needs. This role designs, develops, and deploys training solutions to educate and integrate the workforce, supporting organizational initiatives. The Specialist will assist in managing training activities for GMP areas, including onboarding and qualification training, and will maintain training records in the company's Learning Management System (LMS). This position plays a critical role in designing and implementing learning solutions for employees at all levels, requiring strong guidance, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Creation, Delivery and Coordination of Site Learning Activities.
- Conduct needs assessments to determine performance gaps and training solutions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and execute development strategies.
- Create/identify engaging learning activities and compelling course content.
- Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.
- Develop and maintain learning content, materials, programs, and resources.
- Support company onboarding strategy.
- Assist in the management of the site’s Learning Management System.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of performance management, instructional design, adult learning principles, leadership development, and learning technologies.
- Facilitate individual employee development, including leveraging individual development plans.
- Participate in the creation and delivery of leadership development activities.
- Develop and maintain successful business relationships at all levels.
- Update, implement, facilitate and manage the site Trainer Certification program and standards.
- Support site onboarding and new employee training for GDP areas.
- Work extended hours as business needs dictate to complete department goals.
- Perform other assigned projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Learning Studies, Education, Psychology or related field.
- Proven expertise in designing engaging and effective learning content, demonstrating a strong background in Instructional Design principles.
- Experience in delivering live training sessions preferred.
- Certification in Instructional Design, Training & Development, or related field is a plus.
- Leadership Development experience is a plus.
- Microsoft Office Suite skills/knowledge/experience.
- Experience designing learning content and programs (Instructor Led and eLearning).
- Experience using content development applications preferred (i.e., Articulate, Vyond, etc.).
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems and/or other training applications preferred.
- Ability to present and train for employee levels, preferred.
- Standing/Walking 40% of the time. Sitting 60% of the time.
- Able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Must be able to stand extended periods of time when delivering classroom training and workshops.
- Normal manufacturing and office environment.
- May work in an environment with variable but moderately high noise levels (hearing protection recommended).
- Must wear safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, and other protective items as required when present in cGMP areas.
- Decisions require basic/routine analytical judgment.
- Plan and perform diversified duties requiring knowledge of a particular field and the use of a wide range of procedures.
- Involves the exercise of judgment in the analysis of facts or conditions regarding individual problems or transactions to determine what action should be taken within the guidelines or standard practice.

- 65,000.00 - 80,000.00 USD
