About the Role

Performance Contracting Group (PCG) is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support commercial projects in Albany, NY. This role focuses on specialty walls and ceilings, and clean rooms, requiring project management support and a willingness to travel or relocate for project needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Prepare RFI’s and submittals.
• Perform quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen.
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation.
• Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4-7 years’ experience in construction management is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline, or comparable work experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught.
• Customer service skills, such as working with customers and building strong relationships.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Salary/Compensations

• $95,000-115,000 annual salary plus a non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.
