About the Role

Student assistants are needed to support Banking Operations teams in Berlin. This role offers exposure to various customer services within Germany and reports directly to the Head of Banking Operations Germany.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day business in various teams.
• Monitor, plan, and execute daily activities according to customer service level agreements.
• Assist the team in testing new functionalities and regular releases.
• Collaborate on projects for implementing legal requirements and introducing new technical functionalities.
• Support the team in improving Avaloq core banking system functionalities and related processes to increase efficiency and reduce operational risks.

Requirements

• Studying economics or a related degree program with economic aspects.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and flexibility.
• Ability to work in a team and a positive attitude.
• Analytical mindset and proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced, and complex environment.
• Structured and meticulous way of working with a quick grasp of new ideas.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.

Skills

• Experience in operational processes of a bank (e.g., securities, corporate actions, client master data)
• Practical experience with the Avaloq core banking system
• Expertise in process optimization methods
