About the Role
Join Simon-Kucher as an intern in the Healthcare & Life Sciences Division, focusing on commercial strategy, pricing, and sales. You will work in specialized teams to tackle major business questions, gain deep industry expertise, and help clients optimize revenue models and execute growth strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Commercial Growth Strategies
- Support go-to-market strategies, product launches, and sales effectiveness initiatives.
- Use data-driven insights to help clients identify new revenue opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Assist in designing and implementing commercial models that align with business objectives.
- Master the Art & Science of Pricing
- Analyze pricing data, customer needs and behaviors, and market trends to develop strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Optimize pricing structures, discounting models, and value-based pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Turn Analysis into Actionable Recommendations
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to guide business decisions.
- Develop financial models, customer segmentation analyses, and pricing simulations.
- Work closely with clients to ensure recommendations are practical, actionable, and implemented successfully.
- Communicate Insights & Drive Change
- Craft compelling presentations and reports that simplify complex data into clear, impactful recommendations.
- Participate in client workshops, discussions, and presentations, helping turn insights into execution.
- Engage directly with client teams to drive buy-in and real-world adoption of strategic recommendations.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program at an accredited university/college, pursuing a degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, bioengineering, public health, life sciences, or a related scientific discipline, with an expected graduation date between May and June 2028.
- Ability to intern in the United States for 9 weeks from June 7 to August 6, 2027.
- If extended a full-time offer, willingness and authorization to work in either Mexico City or Brazil.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Mexico City or Brazil.
Skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Comfort working with pricing models, sales data, and financial metrics.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for business growth, pricing optimization, and revenue strategy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other analytics tools is a plus.
