About the Role
The Assistant Property Manager will support the day-to-day management and performance of 8 Bishopsgate, ensuring the building operates to a best-in-class standard with occupier experience as a core focus. This role involves operational delivery, occupier engagement, financial control, and compliance, contributing to the building's strategy and Savills Rise principles.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of the building, ensuring operational services are delivered to a consistently best-in-class standard.
- Take ownership of operational issues and occupier queries, ensuring proactive identification and timely resolution.
- Work closely with M&E, Placemaking & Enlivenment, ESG, and service partner teams to ensure a coordinated operational approach.
- Support procurement and tender processes.
- Assist in the preparation and management of the service charge budget, including monitoring expenditure and identifying cost efficiencies.
- Act as a key point of contact for occupiers, ensuring high service delivery and effective handling of enquiries.
- Attend and contribute to occupier and client meetings, supporting presentation preparation and action tracking.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with all 8 Bishopsgate stakeholders.
- Support the management of statutory compliance, health & safety, and risk management processes.
- Ensure property management systems and documentation are maintained to a high standard.
- Ensure the effective management and oversight of the helpdesk and CAFM system.
- Support the Senior Property Manager in overseeing soft service functions.
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of occupier events and engagement initiatives.
- Oversee the management of The Lookout booking system.
- Manage office and welfare facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained and stocked.
- Attend all relevant Savills training and coordinate required external training.
Requirements
- Commercial property management experience within a multi-tenanted building preferred.
- Understanding of service charge budgets, financial controls, and cost management.
- Experience working with and managing service partners.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to take ownership of issues.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management systems.
