About the Role
As a Residence Coordinator (f/m/d), you will ensure the well-being and satisfaction of our international students in the EF residences, reporting directly to the Accommodation Manager. This is a full-time summer position (June-August).
Responsibilities
- Welcome international students and manage smooth check-ins and check-outs.
- Regularly inspect rooms and facilities to ensure standards are met.
- Act as a point of contact in emergencies, prioritizing student safety and well-being.
- Perform tasks such as curfew checks, well-being checks, and meal supervision.
- Create daily reports on incidents or changes in the residence.
- Participate in the reception team on a rotational basis.
- Handle administrative tasks including checklist creation, room assignments/changes, and housekeeping/meal list organization.
Requirements
- German language skills at B2 level or higher (spoken and written).
- Good English language skills (spoken and written).
- Unrestricted work permit for Germany.
- Open-minded, friendly, and positive attitude towards challenges.
- Innovative, detail-oriented, and able to maintain composure under stress with a 'can-do' mentality.
- Highly organized, independent, and responsible.
- Flexibility, especially for evening and weekend working hours.
- Previous experience abroad (study, work, or living) is an advantage.
- Additional language skills are desirable.
- Good Excel skills are desirable.
