About the Role
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for three mid-level Associates in the Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice. The Associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country.
Requirements
- Between 3 and 5 years of financial services regulatory and compliance experience (particularly in the areas of banking, money services businesses, payment systems, FinTech firms).
- Experience with licensing/chartering.
- Knowledge of key financial services laws and regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, sanctions, third-party risk management, and consumer compliance).
- Enforcement experience is a plus.
- Strong academic background.
- Excellent legal research, analysis and writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to take on significant responsibility.
- Strong commitment to client service.
- Diligent, proactive and team-oriented.
- Admitted to or eligible for admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
