About the Role

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for three mid-level Associates in the Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice. The Associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country.

Requirements

  • Between 3 and 5 years of financial services regulatory and compliance experience (particularly in the areas of banking, money services businesses, payment systems, FinTech firms).
  • Experience with licensing/chartering.
  • Knowledge of key financial services laws and regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, sanctions, third-party risk management, and consumer compliance).
  • Enforcement experience is a plus.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Excellent legal research, analysis and writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to take on significant responsibility.
  • Strong commitment to client service.
  • Diligent, proactive and team-oriented.
  • Admitted to or eligible for admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
