About the Role
Joseph Gallagher is seeking an In-House Recruiter experienced in construction and/or civil engineering to source and select candidates for blue collar site-based roles. The recruiter will report to the Recruitment Lead and collaborate with the Labour Management team to meet resourcing needs and deliver skilled labor efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Labour Managers to identify external recruitment needs.
- Manage vacancies, including creation in the ATS, ensuring accurate job descriptions, and advertising through various channels.
- Actively source candidates for niche roles using LinkedIn and other tools.
- Pre-register, screen, and sift applicants, conduct telephone screenings, and provide candidate shortlists.
- Manage candidate communication, including interview arrangements and feedback.
- Convey job offers and ensure necessary approvals are obtained.
- Provide information to the HR Administrator for contract generation and new hire processing.
- Build and maintain a database of skilled candidates.
Requirements
- Recruitment experience in the Construction or Civil Engineering Industry.
- Experience gained either in-house or with an agency.
