About the Role

We are looking for a Working Student to join our Finance team in London. The primary focus of the role (80%) will be on leading and supporting automation initiatives across Lines of Business, with the remaining 20% dedicated to financial reporting and performance analysis. It is suited to students with an interest in Finance, Data, and Process Improvement who are motivated to contribute to projects with measurable business impact beyond standard reporting activities.

Responsibilities

  • Mapping and analysing existing financial processes across entities and geographies
  • Identifying automation opportunities using available internal tools
  • Leading and supporting automation initiatives, including organising meetings, coordinating stakeholders, and tracking progress
  • Delivering measurable efficiency improvements and time savings through implemented solutions
  • Sharing best practices and successful use cases across the wider Finance organisation
  • Exploring and proposing new tools and solutions to enhance Finance efficiency
  • Supporting monthly financial reporting and performance analysis across Lines of Business
  • Performing data accuracy checks to ensure reliable and consistent reporting
  • Preparing management reports and contributing to performance insights for senior stakeholders

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in the advanced stage of a degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, Business & Information Technology, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, INDEX-MATCH/XLOOKUP; macros are a plus)
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Knowledge of PowerQuery, Power Automate, or Python is an advantage
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and analytics tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Basic accounting knowledge (IFRS or US GAAP is an advantage)
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English
  • Strong academic record
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning
