Responsibilities

• Assist fee earners in drafting legal documents and supporting transactional matters.
• Manage document control.
• Support legal due diligence processes.
• Conduct legal research.
• Assist with office regulatory matters and liaise with authorities.
• Prepare and update client, market, and legal updates.
• Aid in submissions to legal directories.
• Assist in preparing fee proposals.
• Support new client and matter opening procedures, including engagement arrangements.
• Manage document translations.
• Assist with notarizations and other filings.

Requirements

• Law degree holder with relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese.
• Experience managing a demanding workload.
• Positive and proactive work attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility regarding working hours is essential.
• Attention to detail.
