About the Role
The Operations Associate will manage and investigate correction requests related to consumer and commercial credit information, as well as public record information, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently process and manage a high volume of correction requests, including logging, categorizing, and prioritizing.
- Thoroughly investigate correction requests to ascertain the validity of reported discrepancies by cross-referencing information and conducting data analysis.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to gather necessary evidence for investigations.
- Provide clear, concise, and professional responses to all correction requests, explaining findings and resolution steps.
- Ensure all responses comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Identify systemic issues that may lead to data errors and contribute to process improvements for data quality.
- Adhere strictly to data protection laws, credit reporting regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a consumer customer service/conflict management environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Team player with a positive attitude towards change and flexibility.
- Ability to draft professionally written customer emails and letters.
