About the Role

FWD Group is seeking to strengthen its Investment Planning and Management Department by hiring a future leader. This role will focus on investment planning, including asset allocation, investment policy analysis, and proposing improvements. You will support investment strategy, including variable insurance products, considering ALM and liability characteristics of life insurance companies, and provide data and insights for management decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and prepare materials related to asset allocation strategies (SAA/TAA).
  • Handle practical aspects of reviewing investment policies and guidelines.
  • Collect and analyze information on market trends and macroeconomics.
  • Analyze data and propose improvements for variable insurance (special account) investment strategies.
  • Analyze and report on asset-liability consistency from an ALM perspective.
  • Organize and assist in analyzing data related to regulatory capital and risk amounts.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing, and compile results.
  • Prepare materials for investment committees and management meetings, and support meeting operations.
  • Prepare global headquarters reports and handle data submissions.

Requirements

  • Practical experience in investment planning or investment management at a life insurance company.
  • Basic knowledge of asset management (asset allocation, bonds, stocks, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of ALM and insurance liabilities.
  • Ability to prepare documents and handle emails in English.
  • Data analysis skills using Excel or similar tools.
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory capital (solvency, etc.) is preferred.
  • Experience in financial market or macroeconomic analysis is preferred.
  • Practical experience in scenario analysis and stress testing is preferred.
