About the Role

An architectural firm specializing in multi-disciplinary projects is seeking an accomplished Architect or Senior Architect to lead high-profile, luxury projects in the UAE. The role focuses on delivering innovative, sustainable designs from concept to completion while ensuring high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead all design phases from concept to handover.
• Develop innovative and practical design solutions.
• Create technical specifications prioritizing sustainable, high-performance materials.
• Supervise the production of high-quality drawings, visualizations, and presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, structural, and landscape.
• Present design proposals to clients and incorporate feedback.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international standards.
• Liaise with local authorities to secure permits and approvals.
• Manage project scope, fees, and resource planning.
• Mentor and supervise design teams.
• Maintain project documentation and contribute to the company's Lessons Learnt Database.
• Support on-site activities, inspections, and construction oversight.
• Champion BIM workflows using Revit, BIM360, and Navisworks.
• Integrate emerging technologies like AI-assisted design, VR/AR, and parametric design.
• Promote energy-efficient and sustainable design practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in architectural design.
• At least 5 years of experience in the UAE, preferably Dubai.
• Experience in high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
• Registered Architect with Dubai Municipality or equivalent professional body.
• Eligibility for high-rise project approvals.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE-specific regulations and sustainability frameworks like Al Sa’fat, Estidama, and LEED.
• Proven track record of delivering luxury projects.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
