Responsibilities

• Assists customers with pay-at-the-pump transactions and may help fill vehicles with fuel.
• Operates cash register, performs checkout procedures, provides receipts, and bags merchandise.
• Maintains inventory of fuel, vehicle accessories, and other products.
• Responsible for all funds collected, including cash, checks, debit, and credit slips.
• Maintains proper security measures and cash drawer accounting procedures.
• May interact with gas station POS vendor to resolve system issues.
• Helps set up displays or promotional materials.
• Greets customers, answers questions, and resolves concerns promptly and professionally.
• Follows company policies for customer check out to increase satisfaction.
• Keeps informed of weekly ads or specials to answer customer questions accurately.
• May distribute special customer coupons.
• Maintains general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and guidelines.
• Disposes of trash properly.
• Remains alert to safety issues, particularly slip and fall hazards and dangers around combustibles.
• Ensures smooth function of department and store by cooperating with co-workers and supervisors.
• Continuously improves job performance.
• Utilizes all company-provided Personal Protected Equipment (PPE).
• Performs other staff duties as required and may assist in other departments.

Requirements
