About the Role

This role is responsible for leading, managing, coordinating, and implementing daily Janitorial Services scope of works across multiple customer banners within a designated area. Key focus areas include managing customer experience, partner communication, training and performance, store operations, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and implementation of annual plans with Sales and Departmental Head.
  • Implement store level budgets and create short and long-term strategies for sustainability and profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and business partners at store level.
  • Serve as the single point of contact at store level for communication between United and the customer.
  • Manage daily communication with locations via customer platforms (e.g., Service Channel).
  • Support Sr. Mgmt. in meetings with key customer stakeholders.
  • Participate in daily/weekly/monthly meetings with customer banners on store audits, case management, and action plans.
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly reporting on issues, escalations, and action plans.
  • Lead or participate in new store transition meetings with customers and partners.
  • Lead and coordinate store level communication with United Partners daily.
  • Set expectations, provide training, coaching, and mentoring to Partners.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings with Regional & Support Teams.
  • Create and implement task and audit schedules.
  • Conduct quality audits with customers and partners and implement action plans.
  • Manage material inventory within budget.
  • Manage daily check-in/check-out of cleaners.
  • Manage customer requests within prescribed service delivery timelines.
  • Lead process initiatives and identify/resolve store level trends and process gaps.
  • Lead process adoption in Salesforce & customer communication platforms.
  • Lead or support key United operational processes and KPI’s.
  • Support Partner Change Overs (PCO) with the Partnership team.
  • Conduct Visitation Audits & manage Case Management for issues and escalations.
  • Create and implement Periodic Schedules.
  • Ensure A.R.I and H & S Compliance.
  • Ensure I.D Badging & uniform compliance for all Partners & cleaners.
  • Lead In-Store Partner Training and support Partner Effectiveness.
  • Support Partner Effectiveness team in Hiring/Recruitment/Termination of Partners.
  • Collect and report on inspections/reporting required by Customers for Billing purposes.
  • Manage store level financial activities including billing, invoicing, budgets, and expenses.
  • Support Sr. Mgmt. for operational costing for new & existing business.
  • Monitor asset inventory, including equipment and supplies.
  • Implement transitions of new business in stores.
  • Lead growth of In-store business by upselling Special services.
  • Co-Lead Performance Management for Partners with the Partner Effectiveness team.
  • Support Partner Effectiveness team in Partner management activities.
  • Lead In-Store Partner Training (Scope + Equipment + Material Ordering).
  • Lead daily/weekly mentoring and coaching of Partners on store performance.
  • Monitor performance of reporting Partners and implement improvement plans.
  • Manage business using United technologies (e.g., Salesforce & Microsoft Programs).
  • Perform daily functions in alignment with company mission, vision, and values.
  • Work in compliance with all United, legal & health & safety policies and protocols.
  • Protect company assets from damage and misuse.
  • Perform other related duties as may be required.

Requirements

  • Available to address customer and Partner needs and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Willing to travel frequently within the designated territory or outside the province as may be required.
  • Ability to deal with high level of stress and solve problems as they arise.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts on a rotation basis.
  • Degree in business administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Janitorial industry or any other operational environment experience.
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role is an asset.
