About the Role
Reaktor Japan is seeking a Senior Service Designer to join the Tokyo team. We build digital products and services that set new standards for our clients, while also enhancing their thinking, processes, and decision-making to become better digital teams.
Responsibilities
- Identify challenges: Clarify user confusion and business objectives for new ventures and digital service launches. Define service concepts, MVP direction, and validation methods considering technical and organizational constraints.
- Conduct research for decision-making: Lead qualitative and quantitative design research from planning to reporting. Interpret user, operational, and market feedback to articulate a clear business direction for the team.
- Facilitate productive discussions: Design and conduct workshops with clients, users, business units, designers, and engineers to foster shared understanding and ownership.
- Connect strategy to execution: Translate research and strategic insights into service concepts, user journeys, and service blueprints, and collaboratively develop roadmaps with the team.
Requirements
- Ability to identify challenges and define service concepts, MVP direction, and validation methods.
- Proficiency in planning, executing, and reporting on qualitative and quantitative design research.
- Skill in designing and facilitating workshops with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in translating insights into service concepts, user journeys, and service blueprints.
- Experience in collaboratively developing roadmaps.
- Communication with stakeholders in overseas offices is expected.
- Part of the selection process will be conducted in English.
