About the Role
This position will sell FX trading services to asset managers, hedge funds, and active traders in Japan. The individual will develop and complete a sales strategy covering our FX products whilst collaborating with other sales & account teams to deliver coordinated trading, data, and post-trade solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and target new clients to sell FX Transactions solutions.
- Develop and implement a sales plan.
- Achieve volume objectives for new client adoption and volume for assigned mandate.
- Develop deep relationships with FX clients and identify all potential revenue opportunities.
- Oversee the sales process from initial sale, contract signature, document processing/set up to installation and revenue generation.
- Establish and maintain credibility, respect, and high levels of customer service.
- Work within a team environment to drive growth across a range of client types.
- Manage a team of one direct report.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability in sales, preferably in the financial market industry.
- Written and verbal business proficiency in both Japanese and English.
- Extraordinary selling skills (identify, develop & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a “hunter”.
- Strong sales closer with a consistent track record selling FX trading tools to financial institutions in Japan.
- Tried contact list of people within the Institutional Hedge Fund and Asset Management segments with referrals from each sector.
- Strong listening skills.
- Ability to use a variety of technologies with a high level of proficiency.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal capability.
- Highly professional, self-motivated, and organized.
- Aptitude and team collaboration with a desire to continuously learn.
