About the Role
Our AmLaw 100 client is building out its powerhouse Private Investment Funds team, and they’re looking for someone who’s already been in the trenches of fund formation. You’ll be working with top-tier PE, real estate, and tech sponsors who play in the billion-dollar sandbox. This is high-stakes, high-impact work.
Responsibilities
- Lead private fund formation deals.
- Draft core documents and negotiate with LPs.
- Manage regulatory compliance and filings.
- Navigate the '33 Act, Investment Company Act, and Investment Advisers Act.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience at a top firm focusing on fund formation.
- A JD from a strong law school.
- Bar admission in NY, CA, or MA (or eligibility for admission).
- Ability to work fast, smart, and think independently.
