About the Role
Provide strategic oversight and governance for all claims activities within the Commercial function for the Hunter Transmission Project Delivery Phase. Oversee the management of project variations, claims, disputes, and adjustment events, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations, project objectives, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with various internal teams to manage complex commercial matters and support informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight and governance across all claims activities within the Commercial function for the Hunter Transmission Project Delivery Phase.
- Oversee the management of project variations, claims, disputes, and adjustment events.
- Ensure alignment with contractual obligations, project objectives, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with Transgrid’s Regulatory Management Team, Corporate Finance Team, Senior Contract Managers, Project Controls, Legal, and Technical SMEs to manage complex commercial matters.
- Support informed decision-making across the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in claims management, commercial leadership, or contract administration within major infrastructure, utilities, energy, or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of claims, project variations, dispute resolution, and large-scale delivery contracts.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex commercial and financial risks in a project environment.
- Proven ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
