About the Role

Elevate is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manager, Accounting to support financial accounting and reporting functions during a period of rapid growth. This individual will play a key role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, and strengthening internal controls. This is an ideal opportunity for a high-performing accounting professional ready to step into increased responsibility in a fast-paced infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
  • Review journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist with complex accounting areas including debt accounting, acquisition accounting, derivative accounting and cost allocations
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors during interim and year-end audits
  • Support quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
  • Assist with tax compliance and related reporting obligations
  • Assisting with design of new treasury processes, including documentation and roll out
  • Manage and support treasury processes, including bank account set up, account maintenance, reporting
  • Assisting with near-term treasury forecasting and cash management
  • Support implementation and optimization of ERP systems and accounting software
  • Identify opportunities to enhance accounting controls, documentation, and workflows
  • Help build scalable processes to support company growth
  • Provide oversight and coordination with outsourced accounting support
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior accounting staff
  • Partner cross-functionally with Development, EPC, and Finance teams
  • Assist in other areas of the financial reporting and close process and other ad hoc projects, as necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Public accounting and/or industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • CPA strongly preferred, or active progress toward certification
  • Acumatica experience a plus, but not required

Salary/Compensations

  • $90,000 to $140,000 per year
