About the Role

This 6-month contract role as a Clinical Specialist – Urology & Critical Care at BD allows nurses to transition into the commercial medical device industry. You will leverage your clinical knowledge to provide training, in-servicing, and rollout support for BD’s PureWick system and other critical care solutions, aiming to improve patient and clinician outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-servicing, workshops, and training sessions for hospital staff
  • Support product rollouts, trials, and evaluations
  • Act as a clinical resource for PureWick and other critical care solutions
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful product roll out
  • Provide feedback on market activity, including competitor insights and industry trends
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and meetings as required
  • Build strong relationships with clinicians and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to drive product adoption
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting on activities and outcomes

Requirements

  • Current nursing qualification and clinical experience
  • Experience in ICU, Critical Care or Urology advantageous but not essential
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Confidence to lead training sessions and engage with hospital teams
  • Commercial mindset and willingness to learn sales processes
  • Ability to travel across your territory as required
