About the Role
Join the Sydney Opera House as a SharePoint Information Administrator. You will support the implementation, governance, and adoption of the Microsoft SharePoint collaboration and content management platform, including the administration of the in-place records management solution. The role is responsible for managing and maintaining SOH’s corporate SharePoint information sites, ensuring effective information management, compliance, and user engagement across the platform.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, governance, and adoption of Microsoft SharePoint.
- Administer the in-place records management solution (currently AvePoint).
- Manage and maintain SOH’s corporate SharePoint information sites.
- Ensure effective information management, compliance, and user engagement across the platform.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- 2–5 years’ experience in information management and/or technology support within a medium-sized organisation.
- Proven experience administering, training, and supporting SharePoint, including information compliance and in-place records management.
- Experience with tools such as AvePoint.
- Strong knowledge of records management, information governance, data lifecycle management, information security, and relevant legislation/policies (State Records Act, GIPA Act, PPIP Act, and NSW Government Cyber Security Policy).
- Demonstrated high-level analytical, research, and problem-solving skills applied in an information management environment.
- High personal integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Existing Australian work rights.
- Satisfactory National Police Check.
- Satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment.
