About the Role
PDP is seeking Intermediate & Senior Project Planners to support and lead planning teams for large-scale CAPEX projects in the United States. The role involves advanced planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and change management to ensure projects are delivered on time. Planners will provide critical decision-making information to management and implement best practices in planning and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in project controls and time/schedule management, preferably within Pharma/Biotech sectors.
- Utilize project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6), Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Coordinate schedule inputs and performance data into a master schedule.
- Deliver project/program status reports.
- Implement Project Planning/Scheduling strategy, plans, and procedures.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Perform probabilistic analysis on integrated and contractor schedules.
- Conduct project schedule analysis, critical path analysis, and schedule risk analysis.
- Analyze baseline deviations, highlight bottlenecks/delays, and propose corrective actions.
- Prepare Integrated Planning/Scheduling contributions for monthly project reports and presentations.
- Analyze and highlight the schedule impact of variances/change orders.
- Prepare resourcing plans and recommend peak leveling.
- Ensure schedule data from vendors, suppliers, and contractors is aligned with the Integrated Master Schedule.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of schedules, maintaining independence when advising.
- Balance multiple projects executed in multiple locations by multiple contractors.
- Develop good working relationships with the project team.
- Perform other duties as needed to support project delivery.
Requirements
- 5 - 10 years of experience in CAPEX projects with roles in planning/scheduling, preferably in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industries.
- Significant experience in schedule set up, baselining, monitoring, and controlling on large-scale projects across all phases of EPCmV.
- Comprehensive understanding of risk and change management.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability in a cross-functional environment.
- Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals.
- Good Level in English, written and spoken.
