About the Role

This part-time, flexible position is for an individual passionate about connecting science, healthcare innovation, and funding strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Identify national, EU, and global research grants and funding opportunities.
  • Write and submit competitive grant applications in collaboration with scientific and clinical teams.
  • Manage reporting requirements and compliance post-award.
  • Support setup, documentation, and coordination of clinical trials and research collaborations.
  • Act as the liaison between internal teams, academic partners, and corporate collaborators.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, and timelines across multiple projects.
  • Coordinate joint projects with universities and life science companies.
  • Oversee research-related documentation, IRB/ethics submissions, and data collection workflows.
  • Ensure efficiency and compliance while enabling scientific excellence.
  • Utilize modern AI tools for literature review, drafting, project management, and grant monitoring to maximize productivity.
  • Continuously improve internal processes around research and funding.

Requirements

  • PhD (or equivalent research background) in health sciences, life sciences, biomedical engineering, digital health, or related field.
  • Proven experience in grant writing with a track record of successful applications (EU Horizon, NIH, national agencies, foundations).
  • Strong scientific writing and communication skills in English.
  • Experience with clinical research administration (protocols, ethics submissions, reporting).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with academics, clinicians, and corporate partners.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote-first, international environment.
  • Familiarity with digital therapeutics, MSK research, or health economics is a plus.
