About the Role
Gartner Consulting Japan is seeking Directors and Associate Partners to advise leading Japanese companies and organizations on critical decisions that will shape the next decade. You will act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CEOs, and senior government executives, guiding them through transformation and leveraging technology for growth, resilience, and change.
Responsibilities
- Advise senior executives on technology strategies to drive growth, efficiency, innovation, and risk reduction.
- Lead consulting projects based on Gartner's insights, supporting clients from strategy to execution.
- Drive measurable value through platform modernization, application rationalization, cloud migration, data & analytics utilization, cyber risk management, and cost optimization.
- Expand account portfolios and drive revenue growth through strategic relationship building and new business development.
- Lead and develop high-performing consulting teams with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven track record in a major consulting firm, with experience in both client delivery and sales.
- Solid foundation in technology problem-solving, including architecture, analytics, engineering, and strategy.
- Credibility across multiple IT domains.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams, influencing executives, and achieving results with a strong collaborative approach.
- Intellectual curiosity and flexibility to adapt Gartner's frameworks to client situations.
- Stamina and presence to manage multiple senior client challenges simultaneously with high quality.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency is required.
