About the Role
We are seeking a Pastry Sous Chef to join our premium culinary team, where creativity meets luxury. This role involves leading pastry operations, driving menu innovation, and ensuring exceptional dessert experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the pastry kitchen team, inspiring high performance and positive culture
- Create and execute innovative, visually stunning dessert menus
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and timing
- Bring fresh ideas and creative concepts to elevate the offering
- Maintain strong operational control, including stock, labour, and prep efficiency
- Follow health and safety protocols, policies, and procedures related to food and workplace safety
Requirements
- Qualified Pastry Chef with proven experience at Sous Chef or senior level
- Strong creative portfolio showcasing modern techniques and design
- Experience in premium, high-volume, or fine dining environments
- Passion for innovation, trends, and excellence in presentation
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Formal qualification in Patisserie
- Student visas with work limitations will not be considered
