About the Role

Leverage in-depth expertise in Murex to support the design and delivery of robust solutions. Apply a strong understanding of end-to-end functional processes within banks and asset management organizations. Lead and facilitate design sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex requirements into clear functional and technical concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the overall design and integrity of the Murex application landscape.
  • Drive the selection of technologies and architectural approaches for optimal, scalable Murex setups.
  • Operate effectively in a complex front-to-back environment, managing multiple priorities and supporting distributed platform teams.
  • Act as a technical lead by designing and delivering cross-framework integration solutions and contributing to consolidation programs.
  • Translate solution concepts from TDD into LLD and support development activities within agile delivery frameworks.
  • Support go-live planning and execution, including change management and test planning, as well as post-go-live stabilization.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Drive continuous innovation by automating release-related activities and improving delivery efficiency.
  • Define, document, and maintain operating procedures, ensuring alignment with controls and policies.
  • Establish and own governance structures for risk identification, assessment, and management.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Murex, particularly in technical interfacing areas (MxML Exchange, Datamart, pre/post-trade processing, market data, static data) and functional areas (GOM, product/trade lifecycle, pricing, simulation, counterparty management).
  • Deep expertise in Murex technical architecture, data models, including detailed knowledge of MxML Exchange and Datamart.
  • Proven experience managing and consolidating cross-platform Murex environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with database technologies (Transact-SQL or PL/SQL).
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting.
  • Proficiency in at least two programming languages.
  • Experience leading greenfield implementations, migration programs, and large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and related architectures.
  • Experience with Murex batch configuration and end-of-day (EOD) processing.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German (written and spoken).
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets.
  • Understanding of IT operational principles and experience in service management disciplines (Incident, Problem, Change, IT Service Continuity, Capacity Management).
