About the Role
The Product Marketing Manager will own the portfolio strategy, market positioning, pricing, and go-to-market execution for the Power Distribution Systems & Services Division across ANZ. This role focuses on driving market share growth, profitability, and long-term competitiveness across key segments including utilities, renewables, infrastructure, mining, and data centres.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end commercial performance of the power distribution product portfolio including revenue, market share, and margin.
- Define and execute portfolio strategy aligned to target segments.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, regulatory changes, and competitor movements.
- Drive specification and influence strategies with key customers, consultants, and industry stakeholders.
- Manage pricing strategy and value architecture including price corridors, discount logic, and margin optimisation.
- Partner with Product Management and Operations to balance market competitiveness with cost and profitability.
- Set demand generation priorities aligned to portfolio and segment strategy.
- Provide thought leadership through industry engagement, events, customer forums, and content.
- Collaborate with Sales, Tendering, and Leadership teams to align execution with portfolio priorities.
- Track and report portfolio performance including market share, competitive position, pipeline contribution, and launch effectiveness.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or commercial portfolio roles.
- Experience with medium voltage primary and secondary switchgear.
- Demonstrated experience owning product or portfolio strategy.
- Familiarity with Australian standards, regulatory frameworks, and utility/infrastructure customer requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence without direct authority in a matrix organisation.
