About the Role
Provide high-quality primary care to Defence members in an occupational medicine environment, focusing on fitness-for-duty assessments, pre/post-deployment care, injury management, chronic disease management, and preventative health. This civilian role offers longer appointments, no Medicare billing, and dedicated admin time, promoting work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
- Conduct fitness-for-duty assessments
- Provide pre/post-deployment care
- Manage injuries
- Manage chronic diseases
- Provide preventative health services
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
Requirements
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
- FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
- Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years in a General Practice Setting
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
- Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
- Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
