About the Role
This role is for experienced RNs, LMSWs, and Medical Case Managers seeking a flexible work environment in the field to make a meaningful impact in workers' compensation cases.
Responsibilities
- Actively manage a caseload of injured employees, ensuring they receive the highest level of care throughout their recovery journey.
- Attend provider appointments and facilitate essential treatments and therapies.
- Establish a vital 3-point contact system with the injured employee, employer, and medical provider within 48 hours of receiving a referral.
- Acknowledge referral receipts to the adjuster within 24 hours.
- Utilize the SmartCat system to document notes and operate within evidence-based guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in workers' compensation.
- Significant case management experience.
- Strong working knowledge of evidence-based guidelines, including the ODG by MCG or Return-to-Work guidelines.
