Responsibilities

  • Manage the specific territory, reporting to the hiring Regional Sales Director.
  • Provide leadership and performance to ensure company goals are achieved.
  • Target, qualify, and train key spine surgeons to implant the iFuse system.
  • Coordinate training for all local surgeons.
  • Meet goals and quotas communicated by the Regional Sales Director.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders in spine to drive business and acceptance of SIJ diagnosis and treatment.
  • Coordinate the hospital approval process and referring surgeon education programs for local pain management physicians.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with applicable worldwide regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct company business in an ethical and legal manner, complying with the Code of Conduct, company policies, AdvaMed Code, and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Report any suspected violations of laws, regulations, or company policies.
  • Establish rapport and a solid working relationship with surgeons and staff.
  • Manage travel and entertainment expenses within company operating budgets.
  • Collaborate with sales management to align priorities and ensure successful endpoints and timelines.
  • Execute and refine clinical support, selling, referral education programs, and reimbursement strategy.
  • Provide necessary reporting materials and communicate effectively with the Regional Sales Manager & Senior Management Team.
  • Develop rapport with key leaders in the spine field.
  • In-service and educate nurses and scrub technicians on operating room setup and use of SI-BONE instruments.
  • Consult with hospital X-Ray Technicians to obtain necessary images during the iFuse surgical procedure.
  • Answer surgeon questions pertaining to the iFuse procedure during surgery.
  • In-service and educate the sterile processing department on the care, handling, and sterilization of the iFuse instrument system.
  • Manage implant shelf life and instrument sets, returning damaged or expired product.
  • Provide information to the circulating nurse and operating room purchasing department on implants and disposal items.
  • Hold any product or Quality documentation from shipment or further processing in case of potential non-compliance.
  • Report any instances of potential non-compliance to Quality, Regulatory, and management teams.
  • Support the SI-BONE Quality System.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work well with senior management.
  • Consistent career history of strong, effective leadership, a self-starter attitude, and team building.
  • A positive, self-confident, decisive team member with excellent communication skills (oral, written, listening).
  • A proactive person who attacks problems, displays initiative and perseverance, and is open to new ideas.
  • High integrity, sound character, a tremendous work ethic, and the passion to succeed.
  • Knowledge and familiarity of applicable regulations/standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, EU MDR 2017/745, ISO 14971) as required for the job function.
