About the Role

Pinterest is looking for a Performance Solutions Partner II to enable large retail advertisers and sellers to drive success on the platform through product adoption and innovative best practices. This role requires close partnership with sales, product, and engineering teams in a fast-paced, start-up environment, demanding flexibility, a data-driven mindset, strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thought leader capable of solving ambiguous problems and troubleshooting technical revenue blockers.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in Pinterest campaign best practices to serve as a go-to resource for performance-related opportunities.
  • Act as the primary strategic technical contact for sales and clients to activate performance campaigns, providing consultative support to drive product adoption and revenue expansion.
  • Understand and simplify complex processes and products for less technical audiences.
  • Partner with sellers to pitch strategies for adopting new performance products and campaign best practices at scale.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership to top-tier clients within the USA & Canada region.
  • Identify key client and advertiser issues and develop solutions through automated processes, product improvements, and/or people support.
  • Adapt best practices to the supported market and connect feedback between internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant client-facing and hands-on experience in digital advertising, with responsibilities in ad tech, ad ops, and/or campaign management.
  • Experience with tagging and tracking QA and support.
  • Experience working with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
  • Expertise in digital advertising and media sales, including campaign optimization, analytical problem-solving, sales-facing experience, technical troubleshooting, and product/platform knowledge.
  • A structured and detail-oriented thinker, comfortable solving conceptual problems and creating frameworks, as well as understanding technical details.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conversing with engineers and sales employees, and leading presentations with senior leaders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and independently seek information, corral resources, and deliver results.
  • Technical foundation with relevant experience in Search/Shopping/Display/Social advertising technologies.
  • Working knowledge of API implementation and benefits (e.g., Conversion API).
  • Expert knowledge of web analytics and e-commerce strategies to drive retail business.
  • Work-based experience using new AI tools to improve process efficiency for oneself and at scale for the organization.
