About the Role
The Leasing Consultant acts as the primary sales representative for the community, presenting a professional and friendly atmosphere while greeting prospective and current residents.
Responsibilities
- Work generated leads to lease apartments and fulfill leasing and move-in goals.
- Conduct tours of the community and specific apartments with prospective residents.
- Maintain a consistent level of sales closings.
- Complete guest cards, send thank-you notes, and follow up on every qualified prospect.
- Qualify prospects according to Foundation Communities Criteria.
- Monitor local market trends and conditions, and update property comparables monthly.
- Complete all new and renewal lease paperwork, and collect initial deposits, fees, and rental payments.
- Inspect models and vacant units daily to ensure readiness.
- Assist in keeping grounds clean and report community maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Receives general instructions on new assignments and no instruction on routine work.
- Possesses organizational and filing skills.
- Has knowledge of specific programs relative to the property, including gathering and verifying all documentation necessary to meet program compliance.
