About the Role
The National Account Manager position is within the Tesco Sales team, managing a $60m P&L across the Tesco Express estate and Pasta Sauces category. The role involves delivering the Express growth strategy in partnership with the SNAM and launching breakthrough innovation into Tesco. This role is for an ambitious commercial or salesperson seeking to advance their commercial experience, technical capabilities, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage a complex P&L and ensure consistent delivery of Kraft Heinz financial KPIs of profit, sales, and availability.
- Lead internal forecasting and build joint business plans from scratch.
- Prioritize sub-categories within your account based on robust data analysis.
- Consider the impact of decisions on other accounts and win for the team.
- Choose relevant insights and recommendations to build engaging stories that deliver a strong message and address customer needs.
- Work closely with other functions to plan the future strategic direction of your account.
- Analyze market data and insights to identify new categories and white space for Kraft Heinz.
- Deliver solution-focused plans for your customer with speed and agility.
- Engage in tough negotiations, think on your feet, take calculated risks, and make effective commercial decisions under pressure.
- Achieve mutually beneficial solutions for you and your customer.
- Share findings and help advance the whole team’s abilities.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in customer relationship management.
- Ability and confidence to sell commercial propositions.
- Sound negotiation skills.
- Consistent track record of problem-solving as an owner.
- Experience taking on entrepreneurial challenges and simplifying the complex.
