About the Role

Deliver diagnostic excellence by producing high-quality CT images with precision, compassion, and confidence, keeping patients at the center of every exam. As a CT Technologist at SimonMed, you will be essential in delivering advanced outpatient imaging that patients and referring physicians depend on, ensuring every exam meets the highest clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Apply expert knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, imaging techniques, and contrast administration.
• Produce diagnostic-grade images that physicians and radiologists count on.
• Manage own workflow and keep room ready.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues on GE, Siemens, or Philips platforms.
• Adapt to a high-volume outpatient schedule and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision.
• Provide patient identification, review medical history, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Respond swiftly to contrast reactions and maintain infection control standards.
• Model best practices and provide hands-on guidance to students.
• Foster confidence and professionalism in the next generation of CT techs.

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) + Computed Tomography (CT) required.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• CPR/BLS certified and current.
• 1+ year of CT experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus.
• Proficiency on GE, Siemens, or Philips CT platforms.
• Fluency in PACS, RIS, and digital image processing.
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles.
• Ability to lift/assist patients and thrive in a physically active environment.
• Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and teammates.
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug and background screening.
• Some positions will require a favorable driving record.
