About the Role

Seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and reliable live-out Housekeeper for a high-end private residence in Mayfair, Central London. This full-time role involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a 4-bedroom, 5-bathroom home, ideal for an adaptable, organised, and child-friendly individual who takes pride in their work. The family includes 2 adults and 2-year-old twins, but no nursery duties are required, though child-friendliness is essential for working around toddlers.

Responsibilities

General housekeeping: cleaning and organizing all areas of the home to a high standard
Some ironing
Laundry
Travelling with the client usually to France for 3-4 weeks in August (a plus, not a must)
Performing any other duties as required

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in high-end private households for UHNW families in London/Europe
Confidence in caring for luxury finishes, fine fabrics, designer wardrobes, antiques, marble, silverware, and high-value household items
Experience working alongside other household staff and maintaining five-star hotel standards is highly desirable
Adaptable, dependable, and able to follow instructions
Discreet, child-friendly, and hardworking
Ideally possess a British or European passport
Seeking a long-term, stable position
Excellent, verifiable references from long-term private household positions are mandatory
Confidence working around young children while maintaining discretion and professionalism
