About the Role
TYLin is seeking a Process Engineer - Water/Wastewater to design municipal servicing projects, grow client interfacing skills, and manage projects within the Water Sector.
Responsibilities
- Undertake the design of municipal servicing projects including engineering drawings, reports, presentations, and applications to regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate design with various agencies and stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals.
- Liaise with clients, municipalities, and other agencies for approvals.
- Assist in developing and managing project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
- Prepare contract documents for construction, including drawings and specifications.
- Conduct construction inspection services and construction administration.
- Provide services during construction, including submittal reviews and responses to requests for information.
- Participate in constructability reviews.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control on projects.
- Mentor junior team members on municipal infrastructure design.
- Prepare portions of engineering project proposals, change orders, and client communications.
- Complete tasks accurately and efficiently with minimum supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil engineering.
- P.Eng. licensure with P.E.O.
- 5-7 years of experience in wastewater infrastructure projects (sewer pumping stations, booster pumping stations, reservoir and elevated tanks and water and wastewater treatment plants).
- Experience with Master Planning, Class EAs and DWWP and/or ECA process in Ontario (or equivalent) is an asset.
- Contract administration experience is an asset.
