About the Role
Join Fever’s legal team at the global headquarters in Madrid, Spain, as a Legal Counsel. This role supports worldwide operations, with a focus on Nordic countries, advising on corporate and operational matters, and drafting/negotiating commercial agreements. It requires proactivity, autonomy, and drive in a fast-paced, expanding company.
Responsibilities
- Provide general legal support by adapting company legal strategy to regional business needs in the Nordics
- Work with internal and external SMEs to provide corporate, commercial, compliance and litigation and disputes support to the region
- Stay up to date on relevant legislative and jurisprudence developments in the region
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to prioritise and manage complex legal matters
- Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, terms and conditions in multiple jurisdictions
- Contribute to company knowledge and documents, including the preparation and revision of templates and legal guides
- Prioritise work based on company strategy and objectives
- Upskilling, support, and growth of other team members
Requirements
- Be a barred / practising European lawyer with 4+ years of PQE working in one or more Nordic jurisdictions
- Have experience working in top tier law firms, or inhouse experience at a large-scale multinational
- Speak fluent English, as well as French or German, with an additional language, a strong plus
- Have a keen eye for strategy and business, with an ability to translate complex legal issues into business outcomes and opportunities
- Possess strong technical skills
- Be an effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to work
