About the Role

The Development Coordinator is responsible for implementing a comprehensive annual giving program to support the school's mission and strategic priorities. This role supports annual fund campaigns, donor stewardship, major gift cultivation, grant management, and engagement of Corporate Internship Program partners.

Responsibilities

  • Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the school's mission.
  • Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
  • Continuously grows in ministry by participating in religious ceremonies, training, and reflection activities.
  • Supports and adheres to the Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures of the school.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters.
  • Executes a comprehensive annual fund strategy in collaboration with the Director of Business Development to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Manages multi-channel fundraising campaigns, including direct mail, email, social media, giving days, personal outreach, CIP luncheons, Gala, and Alumni Events.
  • Increases donor participation, donor retention, and recurring giving.
  • Coordinates annual appeals to parents, alumni, faculty/staff, friends, and community supporters.
  • Monitors fundraising performance and provides regular progress reports.
  • Manages a portfolio of leadership annual fund and major gift prospects.
  • Identifies, cultivates, and stewards individual donors capable of making significant philanthropic investments.
  • Coordinates donor meetings, school visits, and cultivation events.
  • Supports the Director of Development/CIP and Advancement, and volunteers on major gift strategies.
  • Develops donor proposals, case statements, stewardship plans, and impact reports.
  • Collaborates with the Corporate Internship Program team to strengthen relationships with corporate partners.
  • Identifies opportunities to expand corporate support beyond job sponsorships through philanthropy, event sponsorships, scholarships, and special initiatives.
  • Identifies and implements strategies to increase charitable giving from CIP employer partners.
  • Coordinates donor stewardship and recognition activities for corporate supporters.
  • Assists in securing sponsorships for school events, student programs, and strategic initiatives.
  • Researches and identifies foundation, corporate, and government grant opportunities aligned with school priorities.
  • Develops and writes compelling grant proposals and supporting materials.
  • Manages grant submission calendars and deadlines.
  • Monitors grant compliance, reporting requirements, and stewardship activities.
  • Collaborates with program leaders to collect data, outcomes, and impact stories for grant reporting.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with foundation program officers and grant-making organizations.
  • Maintains accurate donor and prospect records within the CRM/database.
  • Generates reports and analyzes fundraising performance metrics.
  • Ensures timely gift processing, acknowledgments, and donor recognition.
  • Tracks fundraising progress against annual goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Plans and supports donor cultivation, stewardship, and fundraising/special events.
  • Coordinates donor recognition activities and impact communications.
  • Represents the school at community, corporate, alumni, and donor events.
  • Participates in evening and weekend events as needed.
  • Monitors student performance, attendance, professionalism, and workplace readiness.
  • Collaborates with supervisors and Dean of Students to support student growth and address performance concerns.
  • Assists with student job assignments and placement decisions.
  • Collects and analyzes program data for student grades and makes recommendations as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Valid Texas driver's license.
  • Must maintain compliance with the Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) policies throughout the employment period.
  • Must adhere to the Catholic Schools Standards of Conduct, the Diocese of Austin EIM policies, and the social, ethical, and moral teachings of the Roman Catholic Church as interpreted by the Bishop of Austin.
