About the Role
West Monroe is seeking a commercially oriented Director or Partner for its Banking Practice, focusing on Account Growth & Advisory. This role is for an entrepreneurial, client-focused leader who excels at connecting banking technology capabilities with client business needs, driving revenue growth by expanding existing client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to banking clients by understanding their strategic priorities and aligning West Monroe's technology capabilities to solve business challenges.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand West Monroe's footprint within existing client accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic account growth plans that deepen client relationships and increase revenue.
- Connect client needs with West Monroe's full portfolio of technology and consulting services.
- Achieve individual account growth objectives while contributing to overall Banking Practice revenue goals.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of expansion opportunities through proactive client engagement.
- Partner closely with delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes and exceptional client satisfaction.
- Collaborate across practices to identify and pursue cross-functional opportunities that deliver comprehensive client solutions.
- Mentor and develop consultants and emerging leaders while fostering a collaborative, client-centric culture.
- Influence internal stakeholders to align resources and capabilities with client priorities.
- Apply strong banking technology expertise to understand complex client environments and recommend strategic solutions.
- Stay current on emerging trends across banking, fintech, digital transformation, cloud, AI, data, and enterprise technology.
- Represent West Monroe as a thought leader through speaking engagements, industry events, publications, and client forums.
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue growth targets across key client accounts.
- Support the Banking Practice's strategic growth objectives.
- Maintain an active pipeline aligned to account plans and client priorities.
- Ensure opportunities progress efficiently from identification through execution.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional experience in consulting, technology advisory, or financial services.
- Demonstrated success managing and expanding strategic client relationships.
- Banking industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of banking technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation.
- Ability to engage executive stakeholders while confidently discussing complex technical concepts.
- Proven track record of growing existing client accounts through consultative relationship management.
- Experience developing account strategies and driving revenue expansion.
- Strong business development and executive relationship management skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a consulting environment.
- Ability to influence senior executives, delivery teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success coaching and developing talent.
- Exceptional executive presence and interpersonal skills.
