About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Solve business problems using Big Data, develop effective solutions, and deploy ML models into production.
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop suitable solution approaches with the team.
  • Develop models, predictions, and algorithms using Python and PySpark, including data preparation and feature engineering.
  • Conduct and evaluate Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs).
  • Operationalize solutions (Git, CI/CD, Model Registry) for efficient daily use after successful PoCs.
  • Qualify tenders from a technical perspective during pre-sales activities, analyze customer requirements, assess feasibility, and support offer creation for complex standard elements.
  • Support new project acquisition, lead workshops, and proactively identify optimization and business opportunities in ongoing projects.
  • Participate in subsequent sales activities.
  • Communicate with both the business and project levels of the client side.
  • Lead sub-projects and adhere to task area effort guidelines.
  • Work on the implementation of solution components or functional modules of data analytics architectures within projects.
  • Participate in conception, design, implementation, testing, and consulting.
  • Support the implementation of solution components or functional modules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Extensive professional experience (minimum 5 years in the relevant field).
  • Extensive technology knowledge (e.g., Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Pytorch), PySpark, SQL, Databricks, Apache Spark, Hadoop etc.).
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Very good communication skills in German and English.
  • Teamwork, entrepreneurial thinking, independence, and motivation.
  • Enjoy working in a team and independently developing new topics.
