About the Role

Forklift Operators are responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and trucks. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain copies of picking lists and warehouse schedules to pick and stage products in designated areas.
• Operate and care for the forklift in a safe manner.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments, verifying correct quantities and inspecting product/material for quality.
• Stack goods in designated locations following inventory control instructions.
• Stack empty pallets.
• Maintain forklift equipment by recharging, cleaning, oiling, and performing other necessary checks.
• Maintain a daily check log.
• Report damages and inventory discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Responsibilities may vary depending on production needs.

Requirements

• Hi-lo experience required.
• Able to stand for 10 hours and comfortable working on your feet.
• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Strong and efficient work ethic.
• Ability to learn quickly and retain new information.
